Praise The Lord At All Times!!!

Over the years, Chappy and I have found there is a special bond that forms when friends gather together to worship the Father, and every time we get together with our special friends, the Crouch family, we gravitate toward worship. This evening was no different. Robert and Jill brought their eight children and favorite son-in-law (he's the only son-in-law) to our house along with two violins and a guitar. After our meal, and lots of catching up around the table, we gathered upstairs to play and sing some music. They brought out their instruments.....Lydia joined them with her acoustic and bass guitar, Caleb with his guitar, Chappy with the drums, and Natalie with the tambourine. We sang and sang and sang.....Hope danced. All of it in praise to the Lord---our King! We often take for granted the privilege we have in this country to freely worship our Savior without fear of condemnation. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of worship!

By the way, on another quick note, did any of you read the comment that was left on my blog yesterday by Leah and Tony Beasley? My heart skipped a beat when I read it; it was totally unexpected. The Beasleys are in the Ukraine right now adopting three little ones (through Reece's Rainbow) who have Down Syndrome from Darya's orphanage!!! They were hoping to see Darya today and take some new pictures (possibly video) of her. Just try to put yourself in my shoes; you can probably guess, I have been checking my email all day long hoping to hear some news from this precious family about our new baby girl. If you want to check out the Beasley blog, you can find them at: http://www.blessingsfromabroad.blogspot.com/ ....and I will share Darya news when I hear from them!!!

Tomorrow will be our last Reece's Rainbow fundraiser for the year.....our final "Drop Your Kids Off At Our House And Go Christmas Shopping" event will be from 6pm-9pm for $15.00 per child. If you are in the area and want to participate, we still have some room left! All funds raised will go toward Sasha's adoption grant!!!

In closing, be reminded how good it is to Praise the Lord!!! This evening, after two full hours of praise music with our dear friends, our family goes to bed with love tanks that are filled----full of love for our Creator, the Lover of our Souls.

"Praise Him with the tambourine and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments....."

Psalm 150:4

  1. I need your help. Your story has inspired me and now I really think I can raise enough money for Aaron's adoption. I know if he had a fully funded grant he would have a family! I'd love any advice or anything you have. I know I can do it. I know I can! I want him to have a family by Christmas. Can you help me be his Christmas miracle? You can see www.nobabynoblog.blogspot.com for more info. He doesn't have DS but he is a Reece's Rainbow baby, and a child of God. He just got transfered to a mental institution and we have to find him a family before it is too late!
