If you go to http://www.reecesrainbow.org/sponsorhollis.html and look at their waiting children, you won't find little Darya's picture anymore; she has been moved to the "New Commitments" page under the "support an adoptive family" part of the site. Also, if you check out their blog: http://reecesrainbow.blogspot.com/ , you'll find a sweet article written about Lydia's fundraising story on Friday, November 27th.
We are thrilled and already picking out things for our new baby girl. You KNOW Lydia has already got a list for everything she will need. Wow, the difference a few days can make!
Yes, money is still coming in. I know, amazing.
Congratulations! I've been watching in awe as the past week has unfolded - Lydia, you are truly an inspiration to us all!
ReplyDeleteWill Lydia be traveling to Eastern Europe to meet Darya when the time comes? It seems like the experience would be one she'd greatly benefit from :-)
this amazes me more every day!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! Little Darya is so cute and I am so happy you guys have found her.
ReplyDeleteI wondered where her sweet little face had moved to! Can't wait to see Miss Darya added to the big family photo!
ReplyDeletei can not tell you how many people have been more than touched by lydia's efforts! oh my, the lord is soooo good!
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie- My daughter and I posted the first $20 to Darya's account. We have looked at her picture every night and prayed for her. She is on our facebook pages. You cannot imagine the tears of joy we cryed for her when we saw she would have a home. We are doing a small fundraiser for her this weekend and will now send the money for another child in her name and yours. God bless you. Cindy and Lauren Flynn, Luna Pier Michigan ponymom99@yahoo.com

ReplyDeleteWhat a journey you are on!!! I have loved being a part of this via the internet and blog world and look forward to watching it all unfold. Is there ANY way to shorten the wait time to bring Darya home?
ReplyDeleteAmazing! This makes me so happy.
