5am Update

She did well through the night....she was put on Precedex to help her with pain and to stay somewhat sleepy. She's also been receiving Morphene and Tylenol. This morning, she will receive some more blood because her red blood cell count was low. Her bleeding is continuing to slow....receiving Lasix to pull of excess fluid.....vital signs stable other than when she was given a full dose of Morphene (it pulled her blood pressure down). She is a sweet, sweet girl. Has been restless throughout the night with pain. Today, I should be able to hold her. I think that will help. Thanks for continuing to pray as she recovers. "I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise will continually be on my mouth!"

  1. PRAISE GOD that Hope is still here! I know this is a rocky road for the next few weeks while she recovers and I'm praying for God to be the lamp unto your feet and light unto your path. I'm praying for her little body to heal very quickly!

  6. Dear Mel,

I too will continually praise God. I am praying that you are holding up also. That when you are weak we are like Aaron and Hur holding up Moses' arms so Israel would win.
We want a win and we are so thankful that Jesus has won it for us and for our precious little Hopey and the Hollis family= and for all in your family.
    Love,
    Raina

I will continue to pray for her and for strength for you and Chappy....Try and close you eyes when you get the opportunity...Hope is going to need y'all to be well-rested when you get to take her home!

    God bless....

  9. We are so excited to hear all the encouraging news. Our family is praying for Hope's recovery. I am praying for you, Melanie, and Chappy. Continue to rest in the Lord and He will give you both strength for today and tomorrow and all the next days....and wisdom and discernment with all you must walk through. I know that God is using this situation to touch some unsuspecting person at that hospital that will be totally blown away by the love for the Lord that you have, and the mercy He bestows. Praise the Lord for precious times ahead.

  12. We keep on praying for Hope! I know that she will sleep so much better in her Momma's arms. I'll pray for your backside. Those rocking chairs are terrible. Wish I could deliver you a big fat lazy boy, then you could both sleep all snuggled up.

Loves to you all - angie hook
